Beam me up, Scotty!

So i'm watching The Colbert Report the other day and Leonard Nimoy is on it talking about his book, "The Full Body Project." I had no idea what it was and when i learned about it it left me in awe. . . of Spock!

So, basically if you haven't heard about it, it's a book devoted to bigger women. Now, I'm not a bigger woman or anything, but I don't understand this whole concept of "beauty" that us Americans have come up with. Like Stephen Colbert said, "If you're not Blonde with Blue Eyes, and big breasts, you're not considered beautiful" Who decided this? I want to go back in time and kill the man (for sure it was a man) who decided that you have to be skinny to be beautiful. False. I'm not fat, nor am i skinny. If you can watch this episode sometime, please do. It was great to see that a man (even tho it was spock) had enough courage to say that you don't have to be skinny to be beautiful. Too many girls today are starving themselves for boys who aren't worth it.

Someone, somewhere, will love everything about you. It may take forever (as in my case) but the real thing is worth waiting for. So major KUDOS to Spock. Live long and Prosper!!

I'm overweight. To some, I'm fat, to myself I'm fat. But I'm pretty. And prettier than a lot of skinny girls that I've seen. A real man looks beyond the size of a woman's body.
